Dag heethoofden!

In 2019 won Mister JJ Stevens de allereerste SMOKE chili challenge met een magnifiek optreden dat hij nooit zal vergeten – en waarschijnlijk de enige persoon die de kroon zo lang zal dragen dankzij de Coronabreak.

Eindelijk, 1106 dagen later, zijn we verheugd om te zien wie zichzelf wil kronen tot The Chili King of Queen van Groningen.

Dat klopt – dit is JOUW kans – op 15 september 2022 hosten we het volgende hoofdstuk van deze uitdaging.

Elke deelnemer kan genieten van vier rondes heerlijke SMOKE-gerechten die perfect zijn gecombineerd met steeds hetere sauzen gemaakt door de rookmeester Bojan zelf.

De vijfde ronde is alleen voor de dapperen, en iedereen die daarna blijft staan, doet mee aan de spectaculaire finale: een sudden death*-ronde die doorgaat tot de laatste deelnemer overblijft.

Vier rondes met gerookte of gegrilde gerechten gedrenkt in vier heerlijke huisgemaakte sauzen (gemaakt van Bird Eyes, Scotch Bonnets, Trinidad Scorpions, Ghost Peppers en meer). Elke ronde gaat omhoog op de Scoville-schaal.

De finale: Een geheim, maar extreem heet gerecht.

Cheerleaders en toeschouwers zijn van harte welkom om de wedstrijd te bekijken onder het genot van een koud biertje of cocktail en Smoke zorgt ervoor dat je dezelfde gerechten kunt proeven (competitie hot sauce optioneel).

Pre-registratie: Je kunt je nu registreren als deelnemer.

Het inschrijfgeld is € 12,50 inclusief de gerechten.

Hey hot heads! 

Back in 2019 Mister JJ Stevens won the first ever SMOKE chili challenge with a magnificent performance that he will never forget – and possibly the only person that will wear the crown for so long thanks to the enforced Corona break.

Finally, 1106 days later, we are excited to see who wants to crown themselves as The Chili King or Queen of Groningen.

That’s right – this is YOUR chance – on the 15th of September 2022, Smoke is hosting the next chapter of this challenge.

Each contestant can expect to enjoy four rounds of delicious Smoke food that has been perfectly  matched with increasingly hot sauces made by the smoke master Bojan himself.

The fifth round will only be for the brave, and anyone left standing after this will join the spectacular finale: a sudden death* round that will continue until the last contestant remains.

Four rounds with smoked or grilled dishes drenched in four delicious homemade sauces (made out of  Bird Eyes, Scotch Bonnets, Trinidad Scorpions, Ghost Peppers and more). Each round will go up on the Scoville scale.

The finale: A secret, but extremely hot, dish.

Cheerleaders and spectators are welcome check out the contest in the comfort of a cool glass of beer or cocktail and we’ll make sure you can taste the same dishes (competition hot sauce optional).
